One love of Maeve's life lusts for climate activism and justice, the other for oil pipelines at all cost. She needs to decide whose side she is on. The book is based on the 2011 book 5000 Dead Ducks: Lust and Revolution in the Oilsands, by the same authors. This prescient story received a mighty rewrite for young adult (Y/A) readers.
